Genesis 37:11 - Overwhelming Feelings of Reverence

And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

Joseph's dream was too wonderful for his father to fathom. However, his father understood to power of dreams so his father observed the saying. Just like when the shepherds spread the word concerning what the angel had told them about baby Jesus; everyone was too amazed to believe Jesus was the Messiah, but Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart (Luke 2:17-19).

Genesis 24:17, 44 - A stranger in need is a friend indeed.

And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher... And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son.

Remember to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing (Hebrews 13:2). In a similar situation, the stranger requesting the drink was Jesus Christ (John 4:7).
