And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to thy brother Esau, and also he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him.he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him increases Jacob's fear of Esau's vengeance. However, Jacob stands his ground and faces his fear (Genesis 33:1).
