Genesis 35:7 - Man of the House

Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

To bring about God's promises, the man of the house must command his household to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just (Genesis 18:19 NIV).
